We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood LEVEL 2 or 3 Teacher to join our daycare team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and supports the diverse needs of all learners, including those with disabilities. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to early childhood education.
Duties
Develop and implement program plans that align with early learning research and interests of the children.
Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and collaboration among children.
Assess children developement through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Manage classroom behaviour with effective strategies that encourage positive interactions among children.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall program goals of the center.
Experience
A early learning diploma or certificate program with an AB Level 2, 3 is a MUST
Proven experience working in an early learning setting, demonstrating strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Familiarity with best practices for building children with disabilities is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for interacting with students, parents, and staff.
A background in childcare or related fields will be considered an asset.

We are a licensed and funded private program for ages 12 months to 12 years. Our new team member must hold an Alberta Certificate minimum Level 2. Must also be able to provide current, valid first aid certification and a criminal record check dated within the last 6 months. Must be compassionate, patient, and work well as a team. Must love to see children learn and grow and be always willing to foster professional growth and lots of grant funding to do so.
