The ECE/ITE (Early Childhood Education/Inclusive Teaching Environment) position is designed for individuals passionate about fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for young children. Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
Provide individualized support to children with special education needs and disabilities.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues regarding children's progress and needs.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and classroom activities.
Collaborate with other educators and specialists to create an inclusive educational experience.
Utilize computer skills for administrative tasks, including lesson planning and record keeping.
Demonstrate leadership in classroom management and team collaboration.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable.
Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills are required.
Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with people with disabilities is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple responsibilities.
Classroom experience that reflects effective teaching strategies and engagement techniques.
