About Project Play

Project Play Family Centre is a

Reggio Emilia-inspired

child care program that nurtures children's natural curiosity and creativity through play-based learning. Our centre provides a warm and engaging environment where children explore early literacy, science, and math concepts through hands-on experiences.

We are seeking a

passionate and dedicated ECE or ECEA

to join our team and support our commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Create and implement

play-based, child-led activities

that align with the Reggio Emilia philosophy Foster a

nurturing, inclusive, and engaging

learning environment Observe and document children's growth, interests, and development Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Collaborate with the team to adapt learning experiences based on children's evolving interests

Qualifications

ECE or ECEA certification

(or currently working towards certification)

Valid First Aid & CPR

certification (or willingness to obtain)

Clear Criminal Record Check

Passion for play-based and child-led learning Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with the

Reggio Emilia approach

(or willingness to learn) Valid work permit or Canadian residents
