Job Description

Leila Daycare Center Inc.is looking for an experienced Supervisor for the centre. The eligible candidate must have Level 2 and previous experience in a daycare.

Full time shift 930-530, but will consider a Part Time shift as well.

Some of the job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Working on the floor with children aged 2-12 years old. Be able to mentor staff and assist in all programs. Provide programming for the children based on their interests and development. Follow all licensing, best practice and health/safety policies. Communication effectively with parents and other staff. Love going outside in all weather. Assist the Director with administrative duties. Be responsible for the Centre when the Director is away.
Following are the requirements of the position:

Early Childhood Education Level II Daycare experience of Minimum 2 year is required Experience working with Preschool and School Age children is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills Friendly and approachable demeanour Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times Comfortable using a computer with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and email Asset if comfortable with Child Care Online, Fastoche and Quickbooks
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $27.56-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
