Position Summary
The Early Years Outreach Worker provides culturally appropriate early intervention, developmental support, and family-centered services for infants, young children, and their families. This integrated position combines the responsibilities of the Aboriginal Infant Development Program (AIDP) and Aboriginal Supported Child Development (ASDP), ensuring inclusive, wraparound supports for children and families.
The worker is based at the daycare while also conducting home visits, playgroups, outreach, and advocacy in the community. The role emphasizes child development, inclusion, and holistic family wellness, ensuring children are thriving both at home and in care. This role reports to the Manager of Education.
