Position Overview
The On-Call Educator provides coverage and support across classrooms when a team member is away. This role is vital in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring our students continue to receive the high-quality care and education that Blum is known for. On-call educators bring warmth, adaptability, and professionalism to each classroom, supporting both children and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Provide classroom coverage in alignment with Montessori and Reggio practices.
Support students in daily routines, including care, learning, and transitions.
Create a welcoming and calm environment that nurtures the whole child.
Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth operations and classroom flow.
Model Blum's values of kindness, inclusivity, and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications
Current Alberta Child Care Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).
Valid Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Search.
Childcare First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in early learning environments is an asset.
Flexibility to work across different classrooms and shifts when needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $16.00-$18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
