Job Title: Early Intervention provider position



Reporting to:

Clinical Director and Assistant Director of Emerging Minds Est

Emerging Minds Est is currently seeking a Term Early Intervention provider for a maternity leave replacement. The successful candidate will be providing support to neurodiverse families and children.

Job condition:



Contractual full-time position.

Employee is expected to be dedicated full-time for the duration of the contract (12 months with the possibility of an extension). 37.5 working hours per week to the program. Start date February 2nd, 2026.

Location.

Hybrid or fully remote arrangements are both available. Work environments may include in-office, in-centre, and in-home with families.

Work performed:



Provide customized coaching based on each individual and family's needs. Guide and support family through a variety of daily routines, helping them to apply strategies to support their child's engagement and learning in those routines. Assist the parents in creating parenting plans for practice between sessions. Help parents to reflect upon and evaluate their efforts to help their child using the strategies they have learned. Maintaining strict confidentiality Other related duties as prescribed

Job requirements:



Autism Navigator Tier 3 Certification (or ability to return to Fidelity quickly) OR Certified in related approach such as Early Childhood Education/Child and Youth Worker with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with children with ASD and their families. Applicants must be located in Ontario - an asset if they are in the Ottawa region.

Experience:

See above education/experience requirements. Must have experience working with young children. A solid understanding of autism. Experience utilizing applied behaviour analytic strategies to modify behaviour.

Other Job requirements

Bilingualism (French & English) considered an asset. Copies of current certifications, diplomas and references related to previous experience in the field. Valid Driver's Licence (hybrid work arrangements) Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check executed by a Police Service not more than 1 year prior to commencement of employment. Recent Police Record/Vulnerable sector Check First Aid/CPR

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range starting at $33/hour and up to $39/hour based on experience and education, plus 10% top up included on each pay (4% vacation pay / 6% benefit top up).
