The Educator will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community to create a supportive educational experience.
Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Facilitate engaging classroom activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students.
Assess student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages children participation and fosters respect among peers.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the educational program.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Experience
Previous experience in a classroom setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of educational theories, practices, and curriculum development.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage children effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
