Volunteer-to-Hire Program

offers certified

Level 1 Early Childhood Educators

the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in our Montessori and Reggio-inspired classrooms -- while being guided by our experienced Blum Educators.

This program is ideal for those who are newly certified or have limited experience in the field and are eager to launch their early learning career in a supportive, professional environment.

What You'll Experience

Shadow and support alongside experienced Educators in thoughtfully prepared classroom environments Gain real classroom experience in a leading early learning academy Learn the rhythms of early education -- from transitions and routines to observation and engagement Receive mentorship and feedback from passionate Blum leaders Complete

two weeks of full-day volunteer shifts

About You

Hold at least a

Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certification (Alberta)

Bring warmth, patience, and a genuine love for working with children Are reliable, eager to learn, and excited to grow in the field Previous experience is an asset but not required -- we'll guide you every step of the way

Program Details

Volunteer commitment:

Two weeks of full-day shifts (based on mutual availability)

Training:

Completion of Blum Certifications and internal learning modules

No financial commitment

All volunteers are considered for On-Call Educator positions following their placement

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
