Early Childhood Teacher

Job Description
This is a PART-time role and candidates with a Montessori certification is highly preferred. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop lesson plans and manage the learning experiences for the children
- Prepare educational and engaging daily activities, through crafts, songs, etc.
- Maintain a well organized and safe environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy
- Observe and record relevant information on each child\xe2\x80\x99s progress
- Establish partnerships with the parents and other service providers to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to teach in French or Spanish is an asset
- ECE Certification
- Familiar with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or Waldorf approach to education
- Basic first aid training
- Excellent communication skills
- Engaging and energetic personality
- Available to work five days a week, with some flexibility
- Montessori (or similar/equivalent) Certification is preferred
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is also preferred
