Lloydminster Play and Learn Daycare is currently seeking
two passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECEs)
to join our growing team. One of these positions will be focused on providing
one-on-one support
for a child with additional needs, while the other will be supporting the classroom as part of our core teaching team.
Both roles offer an opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment alongside a team of three experienced educators in a nurturing, play-based setting.

Both Positions:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support children's growth in all areas (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical).
Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Observe and document children's learning and behavior to support individual learning plans.
Collaborate effectively with team members, families, and external professionals as needed.
Follow licensing regulations and center policies, including health and safety guidelines.
Communicate with families in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner.
Additional Responsibilities (One-on-One Support Role):
Provide consistent, individualized support to a designated child with additional developmental, emotional, or behavioral needs.
Assist the child in engaging with daily routines, classroom activities, and peer interactions.
Work closely with the teaching team and external support professionals to ensure the child's needs are being met effectively.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including those of children with disabilities.
Foster communication with parents through regular updates on children's progress and classroom activities.
Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress, including assessments and observations.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
Encourage social skills development through group activities, play, and cooperative learning experiences.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$27.68 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
