Bubble's Daycare Inc. which is licensed under Child Care Act provides daycare services to the children of Whitehorse, Yukon.

The education we provide to the children in our care is based on developmental theories and child-centered methodologies that would help the kids socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Bubble's Daycare Inc. has an Infant, Toddler , Preschool and after school Programs as our daycare services.

Job description

Early Childhood Educator Skills

Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings; Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers; Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children; Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts; Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods; Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors

Additional Skills

Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers; Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties; Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records; Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children; Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours; Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants; Storytelling

Yukon Nominee Immigration Program

Requirement:

Early Childhood Diploma or related field Criminal Record Check First Aid with CPR-C-AED Immunization record Medical clearance exam Tuberculosis test
