Job Overview:

Almosthome Childcare/Preschool Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our toddler classroom. This role requires a passionate individual committed to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children while efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of our established childcare center.

Key Responsibilities:

Early Childhood Educator:

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets the developmental needs of children. Observe and document children's progress and development, communicating with parents regularly. Ensure compliance with all VIHA licensing requirements and health and safety regulations. Foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere among children, staff, and families.

Qualifications:

Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education. Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices in early childhood education.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 42.5 per week
