Making a difference every day! Being accountable for the daily routines and curriculum expectations of the classroom, ensuring that the classroom is operating in accordance with Coppens Academy and provincial licensing standards. Being responsible for ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents. Sparking imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day. Promoting the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice in educational programming for the communities that we service. Working alongside and reporting to the Centre Supervisor Create and oversee the theme-based weekly curriculum including Math, Science, Language, and Art Lessons Help maintain attendance, children records, and follow established budgets.

Job Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements, including:

ECE post-secondary education, child development, or a related field plus 2 years of teaching experience in childcare setting. Must have valid CPIC and first aid/CPR Up to date immunizations A desire to positively impact the lives of children and families. The ability to demonstrate an understanding of all current provincial policies and regulations. Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skill Experience creating educational lesson plans.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $19.20-$24.86 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
