JOB DESCRIPTION


The Temporary Part Time Childhood Educator (ECE) helps create a safe, warm, inviting, and nurturing environment where young children can develop, grow, and learn in a way that best supports their individual needs. Needs be willing to work with all ages.
RESPONSIBILITIES


Maintain all health and safety requirements with their room in accordance with Fraser Health licensing regulations. Observe children in their surroundings and assesses individual and group needs and complete child progress reports. Check toys and equipment for safety hazards and appropriate functioning. Supervise indoor and outdoor play as required. Promote an environment that celebrates the diversity of families, children and their individual learning and care needs. Be able to work as part of a team. Be physically active and responsive to children's physical needs. Be able to Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
QUALIFICATIONS


Valid ECE and or IT/SN License to Practice in B.C. Current emergency First Aid and CPR Certificates Pass a criminal record check 1-2 years working in a ECE/IT role.
