Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves developing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional growth, and supporting children's educational development in a supportive setting. Bilingual abilities, especially in English and French, as well as experience with children with disabilities or special education needs, are highly valued. The Early Childhood Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure each child's individual needs are met, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities



Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of children through positive guidance techniques Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and developmental milestones Collaborate with team members to plan activities that promote language development, motor skills, and cognitive growth Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavioral observations Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education

Skills



Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French are highly desirable Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues Ability to manage time efficiently and organize classroom activities effectively Leadership qualities to guide children's learning experiences positively Excellent writing skills for documentation and communication purposes Organizational skills to maintain classroom materials and records systematically Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Computer operation skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication tools
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$26.98 per hour
