Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the Watch Me Grow Early Learning Center, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Conduct activities that promote social, physical, and cognitive development
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure individualized learning
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development
- Utilize computer programs for classroom management and educational purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Certification in Early Childhood Education
- Proficiency in English; bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Strong time management skills to plan lessons effectively
- Experience working with special education students is desirable
- Ability to operate computers for educational purposes
- Knowledge of French language is an advantage
