Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves working closely with children, parents, and staff to promote the social, emotional, and intellectual development of each child. Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their social skills and emotional well-being. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting teaching methods as necessary. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications

A Valid ECE certificate in BC & First Aid Certificate Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Bilingual skills in English is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Proficient computer skills for classroom operation and record keeping. Demonstrated leadership abilities and organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively. Time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. A passion for teaching and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
