We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in early childhood education field and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves planning and implementing educational activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to create a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for all children.
Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and classroom activities.
Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
Promote bilingual education by incorporating both English and French into daily activities when applicable.
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective time management skills are important for this role.
Proficient computer skills for classroom operation, record keeping, and communication purposes.
Previous classroom experience is beneficial, along with strong organizational and writing skills to support lesson planning and documentation.
