Job Description
We are seeking Early Childhood Educators to join our team at Bayview Community Preschool. Our Preschool has a strong philosophy of learning through play, project-based learning, and connecting to nature. We offer a registered preschool program at Bayview Elementary School and an unlicensed outdoor nature program at Jericho Beach park.

Required Qualifications
*A current ECE Certificate, ECEA Certificate or RA Qualification Current Emergency First Aid and CPR C Certificate
Current BC Criminal Record Check
Wilderness or Forest Schools training (Desired)
The Ideal Candidate Demonstrates:
A passion for working with children and opening up their natural tendency to connect and play both inside and outdoors. An ability to work collaboratively with other educators; An ability to provide a rich, exciting and nurturing educational program that caters to children's interests, learning, and development; Possesses a child - led approach to learning; Is able to assist the program director with all aspects of day to day running of the preschool; A working knowledge of the BC Child Care Licensing Regulations rules and requirements; Reliable and dependable An ability to form trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and teachers

Pay: $22.00 per hour
