We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ECEA, ECE or ITE to join our educational team in the toddler room beginning January 5th 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their developmental growth, and supporting their learning experiences. This role requires strong communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a genuine love for working with children. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable, along with experience working with children with disabilities or in special education settings. Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and social-emotional development
Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support as needed
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom activities
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and curriculum activities using computer systems
Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities, share best practices, and ensure a cohesive educational approach
Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
Organize classroom materials and resources to ensure safety and accessibility for children
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet diverse learning requirements
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends and practices
Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development, and age-appropriate teaching strategies
Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable to support diverse student populations
Strong communication skills, including written and verbal capabilities, are essential
Proficiency in computer operation, including classroom management software, record keeping, and educational tools
Classroom experience demonstrating effective organization, time management, leadership, and classroom management skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism and organizational skills
Wage based on experience and qualifications, with wage enhancement for ECE/ITE
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.25-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 42.5 per week
