Job Description

Duties:

- aid in the daily programming, supervision, and care of children ages 18m-5.9 y. (Lilypad Childcare Center)

- aid in the implementation of our school age programs that involves direct educational instruction of school age children From various school groups In the area. (Fluvarium)

- general housekeeping duties throughout the childcare center and Fluvarium building.

Educational/ Training Qualifications:

- Valid AECENL certification in Early Childhood Education (Level 1, 2 or 3) (Entry Level/ Trainees may apply - Wage Grid salary will be implemented 18.06-18.79/hour)

-First Aid Training

- Valid RNC Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

Other Qualifications:

- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting

- Experience working with school age programs or running nature based programming

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials

-Flexibility of Schedule and tasks throughout the day.
