Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love for learning. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom management, and the ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly valued to enhance our inclusive educational setting.

Duties



Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and developmental milestones Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities and share best practices in early childhood education Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and individual development plans Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special educational requirements

Experience



Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is a must Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmental stages Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Bilingual proficiency in English and French Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members Organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain documentation efficiently Leadership qualities to guide young learners confidently while fostering independence Familiarity with computer operation for lesson planning, documentation, and communication tools Classroom experience demonstrating effective time management and classroom organization skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
