Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities. Educate children on basic academic concepts while promoting social skills and emotional intelligence. Utilize effective time management skills to balance lesson planning, classroom activities, and administrative tasks. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain accurate records of student progress and development. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Familiarity with computerized record-keeping systems is beneficial. Excellent time management skills to ensure effective classroom management and lesson delivery. A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their developmental needs.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
