Summary
We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our passionate team at Little Forest Dwellers Child Care in Canada. This role is vital in nurturing young minds through engaging outdoor activities and implementing the FLIGHT curriculum, aligning with our mission of promoting holistic development.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs based on the FLIGHT curriculum.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
Engage children in outdoor play-based activities that promote exploration and learning.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development.
Assess and document children's progress regularly.
Provide support for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification or license (if applicable).
Experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
