Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role is essential in supporting the developmental milestones of children, guiding them through their early learning experiences, and preparing them for future academic success.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance classroom management techniques and share best practices. Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and standards in all activities.

Skills

Strong background in early childhood education with experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning that aligns with childhood development principles. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience with toddler ages a must Early Childhood Education Certificate/ Diploma is considered an asset

Pay: $16.83-$27.33 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
