Overview

We are seeking an educator to work on a on-call/relief schedule.
you will be covering employees who are out on vacations, leaves, appointments

Responsibilities

Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all students. Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff. Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices. Maintain organized records of student progress and classroom activities. Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning experience. Encourage positive social interactions among students Assist main teacher on day to day duties

Qualifications

Experience working with young children in a classroom setting is an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus, particularly experience working with children with disabilities. Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding classroom activities and fostering teamwork among staff. Time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining a positive learning environment. Pay: $16.83-$27.33 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
