Early Childhood Educator Required For Toddler Room

We are a private Preschool located in Thornhill, Ontario. We are looking to hire a fun, enthusiastic and dynamic Teacher to join our team here at Polka Dot Preschool. The successful candidate must hold an Early Childhood Education Diploma (R.E.C.E). At Polka Dot, we value the relationships we have built with the parents and the community. The candidate must be comfortable working various shifts and have a minimum of 1 year teaching experience. New Graduates are welcome to apply.
Staff will be required to prepare weekly program plans, responsible for the safety and well being of the children, diaper and toileting routines and communicating with parents on a daily basis. Staff must have an understanding of child development and excellent problem solving skills. Staff must have a good ability of time management skills and ability to work independently . Team work skills are also an asset due to the type of work environment we have here at Polka Dot Preschool.
Staff must have up to date Vulnerable Sector Check, Updated First Aid/Level C Certificate and also Updated Health Check.
Health and Dental Benefits offered after 3 months probation.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
