Job Description
RECE Teachers are needed for our Montessori program in Markham (Warden & Denison) with our pre-casa and casa children.The successful candidate must :- In good standing with the College of ECE- Passionate about working with children- Maintain a comfortable, nurturing, and safe environment for children ages 18 months to 6 years old- Provide developmentally age-appropriate learning opportunities and experiences (activities) in harmony with the Montessori philosophy and school program statement- Can supervise and carry out after-school programs with a multi-tasking ability- Creative, self-motivated team player, energetic, respectful and flexible- Able to follow directions and guidelines set out by Ministry- Understands CCEYA Licensing Standards- Up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR (level C) certification- Successful completion of Police Records Check within the last 6 months- Up-to-date immunizations and COVID vaccination- Child care experience of 1 to 2 yrs (preferred)- French-speaking a HUGE assetJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 per weekSalary: $16.00-$20.00 per hourBenefits:

Must follow cleaning and sanitization protocols outlined by the ministry and perform daily COVID self-screening.Ability to commute/relocate:
- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
