Into the Woods Early Learning Child Care Studio is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of:

Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Early Childhood Educator works under the direction of the Executive Director to implement an emergent, nature and play-based Early Learning program. They will provide quality child care to community families from ages 0-5.

Required Qualifications:

? Certified Early Childhood Educator, currently licensed to practice in BC is mandatory , I/T or S/N certificate an asset

? Current First Aid

? Food safe certification an asset

? Clear Criminal Record check

? Experience working in nature programs an asset

? Experience working with children ages 0 - 5

? Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills

? Willingness to work various shifts during operating hours

Compensation and Benefits:

? $24-$26.50 per hour

? BC Certified ECE Wage Enhancement pay in addition to above wage

? 4% vacation pay plus 8 bonus days off (divided between Summer and Winter Break)

? 5 paid sick days

? 13 Statutory holidays paid (2 more than required by BC employment standards)
