Part-Time Child Care Worker Position

Part-time

Licensed child care centre looking for fun, energetic and hard-working individual to join our team!

We are filling the following position:

Afternoons: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 3-6pm, Thursday 2-6pm.

Ideal for a college/university student looking for a flexible work schedule. Extra hours available for summer and school PD Days.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Level 1, 2 or 3 in child care

- First Aid (or willing to obtain)

- Clear Criminal Record

- Previous Experience in a Child Care Setting

- Experience with Children with Special Needs an asset.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervision of a group of up to 30 children with a team of 1-2 Early Childhood Educators.

- Conduct, monitor and adapt daily activities to meet the needs of the children.

- Supervise children and engage in activities with them

- Light cleaning duties

- Observe and document children's interests and behavior

- Interact with parents, staff and children in a friendly, polite manner

OTHER:

Extra hours available during summer, spring break, winter break, and P.D. Days

Work incentive bonus available after successful completion of 6 months of work.

Knowledge of Flight - Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework is an asset.

Pay: $16.25-$21.32 per hour
