Duties and Responsibilities
Is respectful of all children and their families
Plan (when required) and implement the daily program for children aged 5yrs.-12 yrs.
Provide supervision, support, and leadership to children
Ensures that equipment and materials are accessible and in good condition
Verbally communicate effectively with parents and staff
Responsible for the arrangement, appearance, and cleanliness of the respective playroom (i.e., all equipment, walls, floors, toys, tables, and washrooms)
Complies with all Centre Policies and Procedures
Physical Activities - running, jumping, climbing, bending, twisting, playing with children etc.
Lifting of weight(s)- children in need of assistance/ moving equipment

Very engaged and passionate about young children and helping them grow and learn
Is hardworking and willing to work cooperatively with other staff
Able to interact with children in a structured, safe, and dynamic manner
Maintains a loving, patient, and supportive atmosphere at work
Is reliable and punctual
Education and Qualifications
Minimum Early Childhood Educator level 1
Current standard First aid and CPR or willing to obtain one
Current criminal record check
Related experience working or volunteering with children in a home or community setting
