We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Assess children's developmental progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed. Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusivity in the classroom. Maintain organized classroom materials and resources to facilitate effective learning experiences. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational approach. Utilize computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes.

Experience

Certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.

Experience working with children in a childcare setting or classroom environment is essential. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable. Previous experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, time management, leadership, and writing skills are required. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational software is beneficial. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
