Full time Toddler Assistant, permanent position (French or English)

Blossom Montessori School, Ottawa

Our new Montessori school is seeking qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team and create a stimulating learning experience for children ages 18 month-old to 3 year-old, starting November 2025.

In this role, you will:

Support the Lead Teacher in running & maintaining a Montessori environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children. Follow the direction of the Lead Teacher on supporting Montessori lessons. Assist in the preparation of classroom materials. Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits. Collaborate to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children. Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities inclusive of the Montessori curriculum. Model integrity, curiosity, responsibility, creativity and respect for all persons as well as an appreciation of cultural and diversity. Support Lead Teacher with parent-teacher conferences twice each year. Ensure the safety and physical well-being of the students at all times.

Successful candidates have:

ECE certification and in Good Standing with the CECE in Ontario First Aid certification Minimum 1 year work experience in childcare setting Montessori knowledge (preferred)
