Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, facilitating learning experiences, and supporting the developmental needs of children in a classroom setting. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to promote a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with a Reggio Emilia inspired program. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development. Foster social skills through group activities and collaborative learning experiences. Use computer operation skills to manage classroom resources and maintain student records.

Experience

A valid Early Childhood Educator BC certificate. Experience working in a infant and/or toddler classroom Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting purposes. A genuine passion for educating young learners and supporting their growth and development.

Wage

Posted wage is the base wage for Early Childhood Educators Government Wage Enhancement is additional to the base wage
