Lonsdale Creek Daycare Centre Society is currently accepting resumes for a full time ECE teacher, Infant/Toddler certification an asset. We have been a valued organization in the north shore community for 51 years.

We operate 5 quality care programs in 3 locations for infants, toddlers and 3-5 year olds. Our standards far exceed those required by childcare regulations because we believe our children deserve better than a minimal standard.

All facilities have beautiful park like settings, including daily outdoor programs.

Job Specifications:

Job Title: Infant and Toddler Early childhood educator

Term of Employment: Fulltime

Hours of Work: 40 hrs/week

Position Start Date: Immediately

Job description: Greet parents, children and families. Supervise and interact with children, ensure safety. Pass on messages, information and concerns to Head Supervisor/Director. Learn and review Policies and Procedures manual. Lead by example, be a positive role model. Assist in problem solving with children, parents and staff. Attend staff, mini meetings and work parties. Practice Fire/Earthquake drills. Participate in programming, monthly learning themes, children's progress reports, parent meetings (when possible), mentor practicum students, volunteers and observers.

Salary: $49,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
