(Full-time, 12 month contract, Benefits , Depending on experience $21-$25)

Location: Newmarket

Roles and Responsibilities :

Ensuring a welcoming classroom environment Plan and implement Montessori program supporting the growth and development of each child through the delivery of the Montessori philosophy Participating actively in school meetings to plan, review and update the written curriculum Being creative snd have passion to explore different educational resources to implement class based interventions Take observation notes and updates regularly based on kids improvements Ensure the program compliance with all Ministry and program's standard Participate in outdoor actives with children for at least 2 hours per day Responsible for classroom cleanliness Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/director

Qualifications and experience :

ECE Diploma and familiarity with the CCEYA Act considered an asset Experience teaching children age 18 month to 6 years A demonstrated passion for working with children The ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player A proven professional approach and work ethic Commitment to ongoing professional development and goal setting in line with GMMS vision Have a very positive and professional attitude and be able to work and contribute to our school and community Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible Montessori certificate ( preferred)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
