Job Summary:

Ututoring Learning Centre is committed to providing high-quality, inclusive, and supportive early childhood education in a nurturing environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

to join our team. For this position, we are hiring educators who are passionate about fostering development in young children and creating a stimulating, safe, and engaging learning space.

RECEs must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators and have proven experience working with children aged 0-5.

Experience:

Previous experience in childcare, early learning, or related field is

REQUIRED

. Do not apply if you have 0 experience. Strong knowledge of child development and early learning frameworks, including Ontario's "How Does Learning Happen?" Experience planning and implementing play-based, child-directed programming. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to support children with emotional, physical, or behavioral needs with patience and empathy.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate program plans based on children's interests and developmental goals. Provide nurturing care and educational support to children in a classroom setting. Maintain all required documentation (attendance, health checks, incident reports, learning stories). Collaborate with team members, parents, and external professionals (therapists, early interventionists) as needed. Ensure a safe, clean, organized, and inclusive classroom environment that meets all CCEYA standards. Monitor children's progress and provide regular feedback to parents and supervisors. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and centre events.

Diploma in Early Childhood Education (required)

Experience:

Early childhood education: 1 year (preferred) Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licensure/Certification:

RECE Registration in good standing (required) Standard First Aid & CPR-C (required)
