Qualifications:

Two-year community college Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma, registered with the College of ECE and in good standing. Alternative qualifications include a Child and Youth Work Diploma, Bachelor's in Child Studies, Recreation and Leisure Diploma/Recreation Leadership Degree, or Social Service Worker Diploma. High School diploma with a desire to dive into Early Childhood Education. Currently enrolled in part-time or online studies related to child studies. Up-to-date immunizations and a Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector (within the last 6 months). Letters of reference if under 19 years of age. Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and needs. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children through adherence to CPR and First Aid protocols. Collaborate with colleagues to support children with special needs and disabilities. Maintain organized classroom materials and documentation to facilitate learning.

What We Offer:

Flexible Schedule:

Our centres rock from Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Job Type:

Full-time (40 hours per week).

Pay:

$21.65 - $24.86 per hour, depending on your fabulous qualifications.
