Responsibilities



Develop and implement dynamic curricula tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, classroom management strategies, and age-appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management techniques and individualized attention to meet each child's unique needs. Support children's cognitive, physical, and emotional growth by conducting assessments aligned with standardized testing and early intervention practices. Collaborate with families, specialists in special education, and childcare providers to ensure comprehensive child welfare and developmental progress. Maintain organized classroom environments that promote safety, creativity, and active learning experiences. Utilize strong communication skills to clearly convey lesson objectives, progress updates, and behavioral expectations to both children and parents.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education needs. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is preferred. Ability to plan lessons effectively while incorporating standardized testing results and early intervention strategies when necessary. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists. Prior classroom experience in private schools or daycare environments is highly desirable. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$27.68 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
