Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with a Saskatchewan Level II Certification to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. You will work closely with children aged 3 to 5 years, fostering their love for learning through engaging activities and play-based education.

Must be available to start on Thursday July 24th, Monday-Friday, either 7:30-3:30 or 9:00-5:00

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that align with play and exploration programming. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity. Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Qualifications

Saskatchewan Certification Early Childhood Education Level II is required. Level I or Level III will not be accepted. Valid First Aid and CPR "C" is required Current CPIC, less than 6 months old is required. Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Previous experience in an early childhood setting is highly desirable.
