Fort Townshend Childcare is seeking Early Childhood Educator for Part-time Kitchen/Float position. Fort Townshend Childcare services essential workers and is a not for profit operated by a board of directors. We are a small child care Centre of 26 spaces, and located in a secure building where children have access to a playground as well as, full gymnasium. ECE\'s are responsible for the day to day operations of the center, daily planning, as well as caring for children ages 2-5. The kitchen/float position will be responsible for preparing and distributing meals, maintaining food safety standards, preparing weekly grocery lists, washing dishes, and keeping the kitchen area clean. The kitchen/float position will also offer coverage and support to staff within our 2 Homerooms as needed. The position is for 4hrs/5 days a week (10am-2pm), with the potential for increased hours on an as needed basis. At FTCC, we ensure that our staff have what they need to create the best learning environment for the children in our care. ECE\'s are provided with time for planning and all materials required to provide developmentally appropriate activities. As well as professional learning days. Successful candidate must be able to provide current vulnerable sector check, and first aid certification, a valid food safety certification (or willing to obtain), and MUST hold a valid Child Care Certification of Trainee level or higher from AECENL.
