Early Childhood Educator (ECE) & Infant Toddler Educator (ECE IT) - Full-Time

Location: 350 Patterson Rd, Kelowna, BC

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Closed on all statutory holidays)

Start Date: October 1st, 2025

Cuteness Overloaded Childcare is a new licensed childcare facility that offers a safe, nurturing, and play-based learning environment for children. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and Infant Toddler Educators (ECE ITs) to join our team. Wage:

Infant & Toddler Educator (ECE IT): $23-$27/hour (depending on experience) Early Childhood Educator (ECE): $21-$25/hour (depending on experience) Early Childhood Educator Assistant: $19-$21/hour (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based activities that support children's development. Prepare monthly curriculum plans and guide children through learning experiences. Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Provide individualized care and guidance to meet each child's needs. Create and maintain daily routines (feeding, diapering, toileting, napping) for infants and toddlers as required. Observe, monitor, and document children's growth and developmental progress. Support the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. Encourage positive behavior through modeling, guidance, and consistency. Communicate effectively with parents about children's daily experiences, routines, and milestones. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and professional team environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom at all times.
Requirements:

Valid BC License to Practice as an ECE, ECE IT, or ECEA. Current First Aid/CPR certification. Clear Criminal Record Check from the Ministry of Justice. 3 positive references. Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach and play-based learning. Strong communication skills and classroom management abilities.
