Requirements:

- Valid BC ECE Certificate (Infant Toddler specialization preferred)

- A deep understanding of BC's Early Learning Framework and Child Care Licensing Regulations

- Experience working with infants and toddlers, with a focus on fostering safe, caring, and developmentally appropriate learning environments

- Current First Aid certification and a clear Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of young children. Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes emotional and social development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support learning objectives. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary. Maintain First Aid Certification and respond appropriately to emergencies. Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with disabilities.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
