Purple Monkey Childcare Corp is a non-profit childcare dedicated to providing quality care for children aged 5 to 12 years old. Located within Prairie Sunrise School.

Summary

Purple Monkey Child Care Corp. is searching for an energetic, committed Early Childcare Educator II to work at our Prairie Sunrise location. Must be available to work any shift within our operating hours of Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm. This position offers a straight shift working 9:00am-5:00pm. Shifts may vary depending on the needs of the centre. Starting wage is $22.29/hour

We are located in Fort Richmond and offer school age care to children ages 5 -12 years old.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children. Ability to lead and guide a team of Childcare Assistants Positive team player

Requirements

Holds an ECE II classification in Manitoba Can work in a busy work environment Excellent communication skills Demonstrates flexibility Current First aid/CPR Must have criminal record checks and child abuse registry with vulnerable sector within three months or willing to obtain Experience working with school age children Commit to kids Certificate or willing to obtain
