Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9 am-5pm

With occasional evenings and weekends for professional development as required.

Our curriculum and programming reflect leading research and practices to provide optimal environment for all children's learning and development. We are looking for a full time, experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator for our licensed 74 space centre.

Position Summary:

Provides a safe and caring environment for children. To interact with the children and families daily in a positive manner. To ensure that the centre's philosophy, programming and policies are being maintained and that scheduling and activities are done in accordance with these. To work well with other staff as a part of a team and to contribute to planning and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma ECE II - Completion of diploma in Early Childhood Education
Qualifications and Certifications:

Current First Aid/CPR Current child abuse registry check Current criminal record check Knowledge of a child care setting, previous work in a child care centre is an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work as a team or independently
