Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the FLIGHT principles and a deep appreciation for the Reggio Emilia approach. You will be responsible for creating and implementing enriching learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in our young citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programming based on the FLIGHT principles and Reggio Emilia philosophy.
Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, wonder and expression.
Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child's individual needs and growth.
Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with early childhood education best practices.
Qualifications:
Alberta Child Care Certification (required).
Experience in an early childhood education setting, particularly with FLIGHT principles and Reggio Emilia-inspired environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing each child's development.
