We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team, in a group infant toddler or 3-5 year old space. The ideal candidate for this position will be ECE certified in BC and have a passion for helping young children reach their full potential. The successful ECE will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment, developing and implementing lesson plans, and engaging with students to help them learn and grow. We are looking for an individual who is patient, creative, and committed to helping our students succeed.
Must have BCECE qualification, ECEA need not apply.
Wage $21-$22/hr plus ECE wage enhancement for those who qualify.
Responsibilities:
Create a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Provide developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children.
Encourage children to explore and discover through play and other activities.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs of the children.
Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
Maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.
