We are looking for a full time Early Childhood Educator to join our team for a term position!
Term: December 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026

8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities
Providing high-quality care to children in a group setting
Responding sensitively to the needs of the children
Bonding & forming relationships with children, staff, and families
Engaging in play with children
Communicating with parents at drop-off & pick-up
Communicating & collaborating with staff
General cleaning (i.e., sweeping, mopping, etc.)
Assisting children with toileting/diapering, dressing, feeding, etc.
Creating a safe & welcoming environment
Promoting & guiding play-based learning
Requirements:
Nova Scotia Early Childhood Classification Level 1, 2, or 3
Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
conducted within the last year
Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
conducted within the last year
Valid
First Aid & CPR Level C Certification
Qualities:
patience, compassion, reliability, & communication skills
Experience working in a child care setting is preferred
Rate of pay will be determined based on training and experience
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $25.11-$31.56 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
