full time Early Childhood Educator to join our team for a term position starting on December 1, 2025, ending on February 28th, 2026
(with potential to become permanent).
Hours of work: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
Job description:
Providing high-quality care to children in a group setting
Responding sensitively to the needs of the children
Bonding & forming relationships with children, staff, and families
Engaging in play with children
Communicating with parents at drop-off & pick-up
Communicating & collaborating with staff
General cleaning (i.e., sweeping, mopping, etc.)
Assisting children with toileting/diapering, dressing, feeding, etc.
Creating a safe & welcoming environment
Promoting & guiding play-based learning
Requirements:
Level 1, 2, or 3 NS ECE Classification
Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
conducted within the last year
Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
conducted within the last year
Valid
First Aid & CPR Level C Certification
Qualities:
